PurOxygen P500 home air purifier features a 6-stage advanced purification system that includes such high-performance filters as pre-filter, True HEPA filter , Activated carbon filter, Cold Catalyst Filter, Negative Ion Generator, and UV light Sanitizer. A pre-filter spots and filters out dust, mold, pet dander, smoke, bacteria, microbes, allergens and decreases their presence in the air. HEPA air filter captures 99.97% of particles above 0.3 microns in size, and 95%-99% - below 0.3 microns. Activated carbon air purifier allows soaking up odors or chemical reactions. Used with a HEPA filter, it significantly removes almost all airborne pollutants. The Cold Catalyst Filter controls the pollution under normal living conditions and is capable of decomposing various harmful gases. The Negative Ion Generator helps purify the air from dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other possible allergens and removes the debilitating effects of excessive positive ions in the environment. Finally, the UV light Sanitizer destroys germs, allergens, bacteria, mold, pollen, and viruses.
