Activate With Your ISP

  1. Connect the coax cable from your wall outlet to the modem and hand-tighten (connect directly to the wall outlet if possible, without a splitter).
  2. Plug in the power adapter and wait for the Online light to turn solid (up to 10 minutes).
  3. Activate with your provider. Xfinity: use the Xfinity app. Other providers: use your provider's activation page or call them with the model, serial number and MAC address on the modem's label.
  4. Restart the modem (unplug for 30 seconds, then plug it back in), then connect your computer or Wi-Fi router.

Will this work with my internet provider?

It works if your internet comes into your home through a coax cable from a cable provider such as Xfinity, Spectrum or Cox. It will not work with fiber, DSL, satellite, or 5G home internet. Check that your plan speed is 2.5 Gbps or less. If you have home phone service through your cable provider, keep their voice modem; this model does not support it.

I was shipped defective unit I was told the new To me at the same time my old unit was being shipped back and I'm on my second week without Internet and I was just gonna patiently wait but then they sent me this request for review and asked me how I was enjoying the modem they sent. Wow, if you're gonna ask I'm going to tell you. I can understand the defective product once in a while but what I cant understand is when you tell me that you will ship my Replace modem at the same time As I'm shipping mine back and then I need to email you over a week later and you tell me "oh I'll we'll ship it today" And then when ask you why you didn't ship it a week ago and I find forgetting to ship A customers replacement product to be unprofessional, You act confused like you didn't forget and you were being professional. so not enjoying, not enjoying the product at all. Thank you for asking.

Works great at about half the cost

Was replacing my older Zoom cable modem for one that could do GHz. This is $200 new. So for about half (with discount code) the cost and 1 year warranty I get my replacement modem. No problem installing and I'm up and running at 1Ghz speed.
