Flexibility makes the Dayton Audio IO655 2-Way Indoor/Outdoor Speakers an ideal go-to speaker pair for any type of install. With 70V transformer taps, these speakers can be used in commercial installations such as distributed background music and paging systems in bars, hotels, restaurants, and conference rooms. In addition, the speakers include an 8-ohm bypass option for use with consumer amplifiers in residential applications such as pools, patios, gardens, and porches. Each speaker features a 6-1/2-in. mineral-filled polypropylene cone woofer and 1-in. metalized Mylar dome tweeter for full-range high fidelity performance. The crossover network was computer optimized by Dayton Audio and then fine-tuned via extensive listening tests to provide amazing sonic performance. These elegant enclosures can be mounted on walls or ceilings. They come with yoke-style mounting brackets, stainless steel hardware, and corrosion-resistant nickel-plated push terminals for fast installation and wiring.
