Eye Safety
Even at such a close proximity to the screen, in can be dangerous for curious kids and pets to put their eyes near the PL1's powerful laser light. To help prevent this, Hisense equipped the projector with a proximity sensor that turns off the laser when something gets too close. A feature that you can turn off if needed.
