The 8034e offers a max print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and supports automatic two-sided printing. It features fast print speeds up to 29 ppm in black and 25 ppm in color. The 8034e has a 225-sheet paper tray and a 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for multipage scanning and copying. It accepts up to 8.5 x 14" legal-size paper sheets and allows borderless printing on up to letter-size 8.5 x 11" paper.

For connectivity, the printer features built-in Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB interfaces. Wi-Fi allows wireless use of the printer, such as initiating print commands from your smartphone over various apps and services, including HP Smart, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and Wi-Fi Direct.
