Samsung LF32TU872VNXGO-RB TU872 Series 32" 4K UHD Thunderbolt 3 Monitor- Certified Refurbished

The Samsung F32TU872VN features Thunderbolt 3 for blazingly fast data transfer speeds. Thunderbolt 3 also offers a single-cable solution which carries power and data, as well as an ultra-fast and secure wired Ethernet (LAN) connection, making for a clean, clutter-free workspace. And with 4K/UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, you get four times the resolution of a standard 1080p monitor. See more lines of code, more spreadsheet columns, more web content, more documents at once. And with support for 1 billion colors, 99.9% sRGB and HDR10, every image and video will be rich, lifelike and full of razor-sharp detail.

4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution
With four times the resolution of 1080p monitors, the F32TU872VN makes small text easy to read, while details in photos, illustrations and videos are easier to see and work with.

Thunderbolt 3 and Ethernet (LAN) connectivity
TBT3 protocol gives you amazing speed, transferring data at up to 40Gbps1. Equipped with two TBT3 ports and compatible with PC and Mac, the single cable connection transmits a digital display signal, data (USB) and Ethernet (LAN) while simultaneously charging your device (up to 90W)

Ultra-slim bezels and easy dual UHD setup
A three-sided, virtually borderless frame gives the impression of one seamless display in a multi-screen setup. Daisy chain technology allows the screens to be extended with a single cable connection. With Thunderbolt 3, you can daisy-chain up to two 4K monitors or six total devices.

Quantum Dot (QLED), sRGB, DCI and 1B colors
Supporting up to 99.9% sRGB color space, 91.6% DCI and 1B colors, QLED technology delivers brighter and crisper colors and more natural reds and greens. And every monitor is factory-calibrated.

High Dynamic Range (HDR)
HDR10 provides a higher level of contrast between light and dark images, for a more realistic picture.

Split screen Picture by Picture (PBP) and Picture in Picture (PIP)
Allow users to connect two separate sources to the display and view simultaneously. Code in one window and see the results in the other. Included software makes window management easy.

Fully adjustable stand and VESA-compatible
Adjust the height, tilt and swivel to a position that suits you. The slim metal base adds to the clean sophistication, while VESA compatibility makes installation on a wall or mounting arm easy.

Easy on the eyes
Eye Saver Mode lowers blue light levels, for reduced eye strain during long work hours. Flicker-free technology adds further viewing comfort by eliminating flickering at all levels of brightness.

Samsung offers high performance and reliability, while complying with the federal Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. and 2501-2581).

Samsung LF32TU872VNXGO works well with Apple M1 Mini running HDMI or Thunderbolt

I have two identical Samsung LF32TU872VNXGO monitors hooked up to an Apple M1 Mini. Just bought the second monitor from Verdi after having the first monitor for several years. They run great together.

The first monitor is connected via the TB3 port with TB3 cable. The second monitor is connected via the HDMI port with HBMI cable. The first monitor (via TB3) can get a resolution (3008 X 1692) that I would prefer to use for both monitors, but the second monitor can not get that particular resolution because it is running via HDMI. So I run them both at 2560 X 1440. (3840 x 2160 is too small text for me.)

COLOR issue:
The colors on the second monitor (HDMI) are slightly brighter and more colorful than the first monitor (TB3), which looks dimmer in its colors. I have the monitors set up in a slight V shape across the front of my desk and, at first, the first monitor was noticeably less colorful (red fall leaves) in Apple's macOS Sonoma Hills desktop picture. I'm not sure why?
Is it bc of some difference between HDMI vs TB3? Or are the Color Profiles different?
I did do some quick selection of different color profiles in the Settings of each monitor. They both seem to have different Color Profiles in the Settings...don't seem to have the exact same Color Profiles available between them.
I got them "close" in their colors, close enough for me, and then stopped working on this issue.
If you need precise colors, you will have to investigate and understand how to control the color issue better. I don't think either monitor is "broken". Samsung support can probably help you with this issue more precisely. I've phoned them before and they seem capable and easy to work with.
