The Tram 11860 is a robust antenna designed to elevate your communication experience. This model features a 2.4-dBd gain for 1/2 wave performance on VHF and an impressive 5-dBd gain for 5/8 wave on UHF. Standing at 37-1/4 in. tall, it’s pre-tuned, meaning you can set it up and start using it right away - no tuning necessary. The antenna is crafted with a durable, 1-piece magnet and coil housing that includes a strong 4-in. magnet, ensuring stability, while a soft rubber boot on the magnet prevents scratches and damage to your vehicle. To enhance your signal quality, it comes equipped with a 17-ft. RG58A/U low-loss precision communication RF coax cable. This cable features a tinned copper braid for 95% shielding and a solid insulation with a stranded tinned copper center conductor, providing you with the reliability you need. The whip is made from black chrome-plated stainless steel, measuring 0.1 in. (2.5 mm), and boasts a power rating of 200 watts. Finally, you’ll find a precision PL-259 UHF male connector with strain relief already installed for added convenience. This antenna combines functionality with thoughtful design, making it an excellent choice for all your communication needs.
