The Uniden UM725GBT Fixed-Mount Marine VHF Radio with GPS and Bluetooth in White comes packed with features. They include built-in GPS receiver, IPX8 submersible rating, NOAA Weather channels, DSC Distress send and receive, and speaker microphone equipped. Uniden is the first to offer text messaging using marine VHF radio. You and your crew can connect your smartphone via app to text message using VHF frequencies rather than broadcasting over your radio for all the boats in your area to hear. This marine radio covers all US, Canada, and international marine channels. Power output is selectable for 1 watt or 25 watts, for optimized short- and long-range communication.
