The Tripp Lite by Eaton 1,000-Watt-RMS PowerVerter Compact Power Inverter provides a durable and safe way to power office equipment on the road, power tools at a worksite, or use household appliances in your car, truck, SUV, or RV by tapping into the vehicle's 12-volt battery. The PV1000HF features a lightweight housing, which makes it ultra-portable, so you can take your power inverter with you from vehicle to vehicle or wherever you need to use your equipment. NOTE: To protect against high current draw that may occur during inverter failure, a fuse link rated at 175 amps should be positioned no more than 18 in. from the PV1000HF's battery in the positive line.

  • 4 AC outlets convert 12-volt DC nominal power to 120-volt AC current
  • Compact, lightweight design with all-metal housing powers desktop computer systems, portable electronics, game systems, TVs, DVD players, and other power AC appliances less than 1,000 watts
  • Cooling fan regulates internal temperature and prolongs service life; grooved cooling surface provides additional surface area for more efficient cooling
  • Permanent mounting flanges and hard-wired battery connections; grounding lug connects to vehicle ground
  • Battery charge-level LEDs indicate the approximate charge level (high/medium/low) of connected batteries; connected load-level LEDs indicate approximate wattage load level (high/medium/low) of connected equipment; Battery Charge Conservation dial conserves battery power by setting the load-level at which the inverter automatically shuts off
  • Low-battery alarm and auto shutoff prevent deep battery discharge
